The benefits of adding warm lemon water to your Daily Routine

Today, I wanted to spotlight one of my favorite morning pick me ups...warm water and Lemon. Yummm. For those that find lemon to bitter add a little honey to sweeten it up. Drinking any water, or especially warm water, first thing in the morning can help flush the digestive system and re-hydrate the body. Lemons are vitamin C rich citrus fruits that enhance your beauty, helps you lose weight faster, flushes toxins, contain antibacterial properties, boost your immune system, as well as give you a refreshing kick in the morning. The warm water calms my mind and the lemon wakes me up! I have even read that this combination can be used to reduce and even replace coffee intake in the morning. I have composed a few interesting, helpful, and inspiring tips on how this morning pick me up is not only good in spirit, but in body, mind, and soul.

***Warning*** Lemons contain a lot of citric acid, which can erode tooth enamel, so it is best to brush your teeth first, then drink your lemon water, or wait a significant amount of time after to brush your teeth. Don't brush your teeth right after. Additionally, you can rinse your mouth with purified water after you finish your lemon water.
