Hey Naturals, I temporarily paused my last post because I felt as though the timing was off and did not want to come off as insensitive. After speaking with my family and to the Lord, I was able to see that the recent chain of events has made the piece even more relevant to the body of Christ. I wanted to pen a letter in response to the chaos around us and why I have been silent. My reaction to it all--shocked myself.  After the footage of George Floyd's murder flooded social media, I felt like I did not have the mental, emotional, spiritual, nor psychological strength to deal with it. Not another hashtag. Not another life lost. Not another cry for justice and another confirmation that my life and the lives of those who look like me does not matter. I couldn't take another disappointment in fighting a system that either ignores us completely or presents reinventions of itself as change. So to maintain sanity, I unplugged. Hello Naturals, 2020 has been such a roller coaster. No one would have predicted that these turn of events would have occurred, between The Outbreak and spread of COVID-19, quarantine, curfews, illicit police brutality, and social unrest. I believe now is the time for me to share a word that God instructed me to preach at a local bible study. My prayers are with you all...now more than ever. I would like to start by asking a question, now this question is not attached nor entangled in any theology or doctrine...just a question and I ask that we dig deep and answer honestly. How have you been humbled during Quarantine? And I follow,  How have you been stretched?  In what areas? How have you been spending your time? Have you used it to draw near to the Lord?
