The Natural-Minded Soul is a blog filled my personal experiences, thoughts, poetry, journal entries, revelations, and conversations I have had while spreading the Good News. It's purpose is to encourage spiritual, physical, psychological, & emotional health and growth; while, cultivating a culture of believers that actively pursue God.


The purpose of the blog is to promote spiritual, physical, psychological, emotional health, and growth through the power of salvation through Jesus Christ. To "Wake Up" the average Christian and to cultivate and encourage a young culture of believers that actively pursue God. To discard the things of the world and walk in God's Divine will and purpose for our lives. To grow the faith of the Body of Christ through studying the word of God. To motivate the Body of Christ to become bold and courageous in their Faith and spreading of "The Good News." All while learning the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle and informing the public of natural remedies, alternatives, natural hairstyles, & natural-influenced hygienic processes.

     The premise of this blog is to discard the things of this world and walk wholeheartedly in God's Divine will for our lives. God given me the opportunity to combine my love for "all things natural" with my love for his word. In this blog, I will discuss and discover different topics regarding health benefits, natural hair care, bible studies, spoken word, DIY hygienic products. I want to learn about God's creations and appreciate them in their natural form. God is perfect; therefore, everything that He created is also perfect. God made no mistakes when he created you--Just as you are. He even encourages us to "come as we are." Well, Let's do just that! Lets shed every idea, characteristic, act, habit, style, dream, and personality trait that was not given to us by God himself. We were created for a purpose. It is up to us to take up our cross and find out what that is.



     I hope you enjoy my blog and take what I have learned and be able to apply it to your life. God is good and He has taken yet another step to show you that there are Christians out there just like you.

Hello Naturals, 2020 has been such a roller coaster. From My Heart to Yours

Hey Naturals, I temporarily paused my last post because I felt as though the timing was off and did not want to come off as insensitive. After speaking with my family and to the Lord, I was able to see that the recent chain of events has made the piece even more relevant to the body of Christ. I wanted to pen a letter in response to the chaos around us and why I have been silent. My reaction to it all--shocked myself.  After the footage of George Floyd's murder flooded social media, I felt like I did not have the mental, emotional, spiritual, nor psychological strength to deal with it. Not another hashtag. Not another life lost. Not another cry for justice and another confirmation that my life and the lives of those who look like me does not matter.
