The Lord pressed it on my heart to tell my testimony!  For anyone who has a testimony, we all know there are parts to it LOL I'm glad that Jesus is in the saving business because we all need it time and time again. Well, this part is referencing my Awakening. One thing that I've learned, is that this walk is ongoing. There is always more to learn and more of God to know. Never allow yourself to become content in your relationship with Him.  Keep walking. Keep Trusting. Keep Believing.

The Benefits of Pomegranate This post was inspired by my lovely maternal grandmother. I had received the heart wrenching news that she had suffered a stroke a few months ago, while out of town. (No worries, she was released from the hospital, the very next day, and was home recovering at a remarkable rate. Bless God! The prayers of the Righteous Availeth much!) Once I returned from my trip, visiting her was a must. While at work, I began to brainstorm a list of things I could gift her on my visit. (I'm a southern-foodie so food is always my go-to lol). My first thought was to bake her a Sour Cream Pound cake, my nana's favorite, but that wasn't the best option after having had a stroke lol It would be wiser to give her something that would be more beneficial to her health. Setting your life up for greatness.  At this point, We want to receive all of what God has for us, not limited to financial or what can be seen in the natural. Let's Set-UP our lives for greatness. If you want something different. You have to DO something different. You can''t do the same things and expect a different result. The Bible states, "Faith without works is dead!" After The "Switch-up," I decided to  Pick-Up my Bible and dedicate at least 30 minutes of my day to spending time with God and studying his word. Consistency is something that I struggle with, so I set realistic guidelines to further support my pursuit of God. I chose to wake up earlier because my days and evenings can get a little hectic & I didn't want to risk missing a few days. Also, I am more likely to have a great day when I start on a good note! So, Morning it is! Many say, "The bible is boring," "I can't understand it," or "I fall asleep every time." Well, clearly they must not have read much of the Old Testament LOL Talking about drama. Love and Hip Hop New York ain't got nothing on the Old Testament. God placed on my Heart a Prayer of Release. This an prayer for those who are trying to refresh or re-establish their relationship with God, but there are a few things that are holding you back.
